Looks like the Mighty Aldhissla wakes up, surveys his collection of virus myth scalps, and says, "Hmm, which viroliegy tall tale needs a little... correction today?" Then, after a sip of coffee, a twinkle in his eye and a flint-edged scalping knife in hand, he carves through the fairytale like it’s just another limp excuse in the grand parade of phantom plagues. Bravo!
Aldhissla, I found your substack from a Mike Stone article which mentioned you had explored polio in India (is it true that DDT is still sold freely there? I haven’t been back for almost two decades). Would love to find work by people in India who have woken up to viroliegy. Any suggestion welcome! My Hindi isn’t great (conversational but not for reading science lol) so I haven’t known where to look.
I read an interesting book by Englishman David Arnold “Colonising the Body: A history of epidemic disease and state medicine in 19th century India” which talked about the British Raj and how bizarre western medicine appeared in India. But many Indian families esp nowadays want their kids to be doctors and look up to western medicine…

Haha thank you!
Also worth mentioning that Enders was a member of the Yale secret society Scroll and Key.
" “More than 99% of poliomyelitis cases are asymptomatic”"
The symptoms of our "disease" range from ... uh ... nothing ... to uh ... anything. Pretty convenient for "diagnosing" people, no?
