It looks as if the cause of "illness" has to be sought elsewhere than in the realm of myths and legends, also known as virology.
I can think of plenty of other triggers, but it could be very uncomfortable for those really responsible. And for the pharmaceutical industry.

Well done. I had never heard of Dr Rodermund's experiments before now but for some odd reason, the Indian blanket story seems to be ubiquitous.
It would be so great if something so intreaging and important as this topic could be a little less disgusting.
